David S. Blinka
David Blinka has been an associate at the firm’s Madison office since 2013. His practice ranges from representing individuals who have been injured in car accidents to mass tort litigation. Mr. Blinka contributes to the firm’s representation of over 200 property owners in a case involving a major gasoline spill from a pipeline that ruptured in the Town of Jackson, Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Habush Habush & Rottier, Mr. Blinka dedicated his efforts to serving the public’s interest in securing justice and protecting legal rights while learning trial practice. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Mr. Blinka gained felony trial experience as a volunteer prosecutor in the Violent Crimes Unit of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. During law school, Mr. Blinka was a student attorney for the Wisconsin Innocence Project, where he helped to advance the project’s mission to correct weaknesses in the criminal justice system. He contributed to three cases that resulted in the release of individuals found to be wrongfully convicted.
Mr. Blinka lives in Madison and stays active in the legal community through his involvement on the New Lawyer’s Section Board for the Dane County Bar Association, the Inns of Court, and the Wisconsin Association for Justice. In his free time, he enjoys reading history and outdoor activities at any time of year.
