The accident occurred at 4:44 a.m. when the vehicle was heading northbound on the roadway at a high speed when the driver of the vehicle lost control of the car.The vehicle then slid into a ditch and slid until it collided with a tree.

The vehicle then burst into flames leaving both people inside the vehicle dead.  The victims were identified a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old from Wisconsin Dells. Officials are still investigating the accident at this time.

Reports say that the first vehicle, which contained two occupants, failed to yield the right of way when attempting to cross State 29 from County G in Seneca. The car pulled out in front of another vehicle, resulting in the crash.

Officials are still investigating the accident, but they believe it began when 40-year old James P. Farrell of Two Rivers crashed into a Chevrolet Suburban heading southbound.  Farrell was traveling westbound in his Chevrolet Impala when he crashed into the suburban driven by 37-year old Michael A. Wittman of Brillion.  Wittman’s vehicle then ran into a Ford F-150 pick-up truck headed northbound and driven by 39-year old Pamela J. Gehl of Hilbert.

31-year old Todd Kuchenbecker of Brillion was riding in the suburban with Wittman at the time of the accident.  Kuchenbecker suffered critical injuries in the accident and was transported to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, where he is listed in serious condition.  Wittman and Gehl suffered minor injuries in the accident.

The accident occurred just after 9PM on Wednesday near South Avon Store Road in Brodhead, Wisconsin.  Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies reported that 32-year old Justin Condon of Brodhead was traveling eastbound on 81 when he veered over the center line and into oncoming westbound traffic.  Condon’s vehicle then hit an 18-wheeler driven by 44-year old Jefferey Smith of Rockford head on.  Smith told police officers that he tried to avoid Condon’s mini-van but it was too late.

Officials believe that Condon died upon impact.  Smith suffered minor injuries which were treated at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

The 39-year-old has been charged with a felony drunken driving charge for his ninth offense and a misdemeanor of operating a vehicle after revocation. The man was stopped by police as an officer was patrolling the area noticed him driving slower than the posted speed limit.

The officer tried to pass the vehicle and was almost hit by the man. After the vehicle crossed the center line the police pulled him over and noticed that his eyes were bloodshot and watery.

The man’s first drunken driving charge was in 1992 and his most recent until now was in 1999. A $1,000 bond was put in place for the man and part of the bond states that he cannot enter bars or taverns and cannot drink alcohol.

The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department reported that the driver of the antique car, 86-year old Herbert Dargel of Lime Ridge, pulled out from a stop sign on Shawano County Q  and crashed into a pickup truck on Wisconsin 29.  Dargel was driving with 83-year old Wilma Dargel at the time of the accident.  The antique car Herbert and Wilma were in did not have seat belts.  The two were taken to Aspirus Wausau Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the pickup truck, 52-year old Bambi VandenHeuvel of De Pere, was taken to a Shawano hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The male driver of the other vehicle, a green Jeep, fled the scene. According to Channel3000.com, “[The vehicle] exit[ed] on nearby Highway 51 toward Stoughton, authorities said.” Police are still searching for him. Witnesses report he was wearing a yellow polo shirt at the time of the accident.

The accident is still under investigation. All eight of the injured had non-life threatening injuries.

The boy was life-flighted to the hospital with serious injuries. Police report that his condition has stabilized, though. According to The Journal Sentinel, “The officer, in his second year with the Waukesha Police Department,…used CPR on the youth until the Waukesha Fire Department responded.”

The accident is still being investigated. Police believe that two teenagers, who were wearing dark clothing, crossed the street in front of the officer as he was responding to the call.

Police are not currently releasing the identity of either the officer or the boy.

20-year-old Omar Estrada-Escobar said he was trying to turn around when he discovered he was not driving the right way home. He was coming from a party where he had been drinking. WREX writes that, “The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on CTH J near Buss Road in Turtle Township.”

No one was hurt in the accident. WREX reports that this marks Estrada-Escobar’s third OWI, his second since February.

The woman was traveling westbound in the 1900 block of Hephzibah McBean Road when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a power pole, snapping it in half and causing her to be ejected from the vehicle, which burst into flames. The woman was trapped under the vehicle and suffered massive burns, which caused her death.
