Two drivers charged for pedestrian’s death

Two drivers have been charged in relation to the death of a 22 year-old Oswego man who was killed in two-car crash in the early morning hours on Saturday. The accident occurred on Route 71 and Forest Avenue.

Both drivers, who are 22 and 25 years-old, have been charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The 25 year-old also faces charges of driving while intoxicated and driving with a prohibited blood alcohol content.

The details of the accident are not completely clear, the Beacon News reports. An investigation is still underway. Friends of the deceased say he was walking home from a bar where he had been drinking with friends.
