Wisconsin truck driver faces felony charges

Wisconsin truck driver, Andrew Bokelman, was arraigned at the Skokie Courthouse in Illinois on Wednesday, November 13 for felony charges. The charges related to a truck accident last March that killed James Stauer, an Illinois State Trooper.

According to Illinois State Police spokeswoman, Monique Bond, 26-year-old Bokelman was cited for felony violations after supposedly falling asleep at the wheel. Bokelman experienced fatigue after he allegedly exceeded the work hours regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
