Head-on collision in Onalaska kills three

A head-on collision on Highway 35 north of Onalaska in western Wisconsin claimed the lives of three people, the Associated Press reported on November 26.

According to preliminary investigations by local authorities, 23-year-old Onalaska resident Lacey Daily was driving north along Highway Z at around 6:45 p.m. when she traversed the center line and barely hit a truck driving south. She then crashed into a second southbound car, resulting in the death of the driver 87-year-old Mary Dolbee and her daughter, 60-year-old Karen Dolbee, who were both from Holmen. Daily, too, was killed in the wreck.

The people inside the truck were not hurt during the incident.

Local authorities are of the mindset that road conditions were not a factor in the crash. The accident caused the closure of Highway 35 for several hours.

The attorneys of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® extend their thoughts and condolences to those suffering during this difficult time.
