Dodge County motorcycle-car accident hurts two

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin has reported that a collision between a motorcycle and a car occurred last Wednesday, November 4 at around 2:28 p.m. on State Trunk Highway 33 at the CTH P intersection in the Township of Herman in Dodge County. The collision resulted in one suffering severe injuries and the other sustaining minor injuries.

According to preliminary investigations, 68-year-old Oconomowoc resident Toni Henkel was driving her 2011 Kia west on STH 33 when she attempted to make a left turn at the intersection onto CTH P in front of the 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle being driven east on the same road by 56-year-old Wauwatosa resident William Brown. As Brown approached the intersection, he collided with the right side of Henkel’s Kia.

Despite the fact that Brown was wearing his helmet, he sustained serious injuries and had to be airlifted from the scene of the accident via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Henkel sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken via ambulance to Hartford Hospital.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team is still reviewing the circumstances of the collision.
