Two girls hit by truck in Middleton now in stable condition

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the two female pedestrians who were hit by a white truck at the corner of CTH M and Frank Lloyd Wright Drive in Middleton are now in stable condition after being treated at a local hospital.

Police officers said the driver of the truck, who hit the pedestrians as they were trying to cross the street on April 21, was seen driving erratically on CTH M near Oncken Drive in Westport before the accident. Officers pursued the car, but ended the pursuit when they entered Middleton in order to avoid an accident. A few moments later, the truck driver hit the two female pedestrians.
